I absolutely love this vanity. It’s great for a small space, and quite frankly it gets the job done.Despite many negative reviews, I took my chances and I’m pleased with the outcome.Nonetheless, there were still some shortcomings I would’ve loved to have known prior to purchasing:1. Shipping is far too expensive. This product should’ve been $150 flat. Instead, It was nearly $250 because of the $70 shipping. Considering the quality, the price is a little much.2. It was missing a screw. The missing screw was part of the stool, but it didn’t affect the structural integrity. Still holds up fine without it.3. The screws and building method are very similar to that of Ikea, except the instructions aren’t as clear. It took me about 3 hours to put together from start to finish.4. There are no instructions on how to change the light settings, but I’m still tinkering with it, so hopefully that will change. One light seems to be warmer than the others.5. The shipping was fantastic! It came in one piece via FedEx, and took only 2 days to arrive after purchasing. I’m assuming this is because it was shipped from Pomona and I live in Los Angeles. If you live further away, it will probably take longer.Overall the product is good, with minor issues. The seller was communicative and helpful. I would recommend this if you’re looking for a small lighted vanity on a budget.I am a single mother of a 6 and 9 yr old. It took us about 3 hours to assemble. I think the hardest part was putting the sliders on for the drawer. I had to goto my moms and borrow a power drill because doing it by hand was near impossible because the screws were so tiny and kept going in sideways halfway through! It was super frustrating! However! Once I got the power drill they went in fine and the rest was just following the directions. Which are pretty clear pictures.The lights were easy as well. Literally put the light sockets up in the holes and then screw the bulbs in, the cord had a simple clip to clip for the power switch. Then plug in the wall and it’s on!! I’m not sure what some of the reviews were that showed cut wires ?? This was just snapping some clips together and it was done for the power.All in all.. it’s a cute piece. I have alottttt of makeup so wish I got one with more storage and counter space. But I like it. The light is super bright too lol so I’m satisfied for the price!Don’t let the reviews scare you. It wasn’t too bad to assemble.I ordered sept 12 2020. Was suppose to receive on Sept 26-Oct1. But never came thru. I messaged the seller and they said they were sending a “gift” first then my vanity will be built and shipped out afterwards. My package says it was delivered on Sept 18. I guess I only received the “gift” which was just a bunch of metal sticks that stink. I was soooo disappointed and angry.. I contacted amazon customer service and they said to either contact the seller and send back the metal sticks and receive a full refund. Which I was not gonna do since it was trash. They also said I could keep waiting until oct 1. If my table doesn’t come by then, I will receive an automatic refund from amazon. Today is 10/08/2020. I finally received the packages on 10/05/2020. The box was really damaged! It was taped up. The vanity came out fine. My dad assembled it within 30 mins only. Came with an extra light. The seller was very communicating with me. And offered to refund me $15 back which I am still waiting.. overall, the vanity is very nice! The drawers can’t close all the way for some reason. I can’t fit much inside since it’s so little space.. but it will do as of now.Had to post because I was worried from other reviews that I would run into issues with the wiring being difficult and honestly it was very easy. The picture someone else posted if wiring is not of this item...this item had very clear red and black wiring, and connections on both ends so you can plug from either the right or left side depending on where your outlet is. If you're not used to assembling furniture this might be a little challenging as the instructions weren't 100% obvious, but I found it pretty easy and had the whole thing assembled in about an hour. The fasteners were all metal and the materials didn't feel like the light particle board, so this wound up being higher quality than I expected. They even give you an extra light, and the drawer was preassembled.I will say, I'm not surprised that some people wound up with broken parts. The box was not marked as fragile and I was very surprised (but pleased) to find the mirror and all lights in tact. Minor scuff marks on one of the boards but it was not a visible piece. Would have been helpful if the boards had been marked.This is my first time buying a vanity, and I bought this vanity for my sister as a Christmas Present. Before buying, I did my research and If you're not going to do a DIY vanity or spend a ridiculous amount, this is probably the best bang for your buck. I will say the size of this vanity is very small, so be careful in buying. My sister is 5'2 and the size of the desk and mirror fits her well for a high school girl. I will say the chair is very uncomfortable, so I would highly recommend buying another chair separately. Finally, the shipping was Ok at best, the vanity did have some dents and bend in the corner. Overall, if this is your first time buying a vanity I will say this is a relatively safe choice. It's been almost a year now since I bought this vanity and it is still holding up, so that's why I gave it 4 stars.
